- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 cups frozen bell pepper and onion blend
- 1 1/4 teaspoons McCormick® Ground Cinnamon
- 3/4 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Turmeric
- 2 cans (15 1/2 ounces each) chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained and rinsed
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) petite diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Heat oil in Dutch oven on medium heat. Add bell pepper blend; cook and stir 5 minutes or until softened.
- 2 Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until chickpeas are tender.
