Preheat oven to 350°F. For the Cake, beat all ingredients in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed just until moistened, scraping side of bowl frequently. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes or until well blended.
Pour into greased and floured 13x9-inch baking pan.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack.
For the Frosting, beat cream cheese, butter, vanilla and cloves in large bowl until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar until smooth. Spread cake with Frosting.
Excellent cake, moist, rich, just the right amount of pumpkin flavor. Made it with cream cheese frosting. Also made it into cupcakes. Love this recipe

This is always a BIG hit where ever I take it. I toast pecans or walnuts and chop them then press them into the icing at the very last. It is absolutely delish!

Excellent! The cake is simple, yet divine with the spices and pumpkin, then top it off with the cream cheese frosting and it's divine. Nice way to welcome Autumn :)
