YOU WILL NEED
1 pkg. McCormick Seasoning Mix
2 lbs. beef stew meat
1 bag (16 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables
1/2 cup water
2 1/2 cups prepared instant mashed potatoes or refrigerated mashed potatoes
1. PLACE beef and vegetables in slow cooker.
2. MIX Seasoning Mix and water in bowl until blended. Pour over beef and vegetables; stir to coat. Cover.
3. COOK 7 hours on LOW or 3 hours on HIGH. Stir.
4. TOP evenly with mashed potatoes. Cover. Cook 1 hour longer on HIGH or until potatoes are heated through.
TRY THIS TWIST!
Ground Beef Shepherd’s Pie: Brown 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef in large skillet. Drain fat. Stir in Seasoning Mix and 1/2 cup water. Bring to boil. Remove from heat. Spray inside of slow cooker with no stick cooking spray. Place beef in slow cooker. Stir in 1 bag (16 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables. Top with 2 1/2 cups prepared mashed potatoes. Cover. Cook 3 to 4 hours on LOW or until heated through.
