Here, the fat of olive oil and butter coat the palate together to deliver the smooth, flavorful heat of Cholula® Original Hot Sauce, balanced by a kiss of sweetness from honey. Ingredients

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Heat olive oil in small skillet on medium heat. Add crushed red pepper, toasting just until fragrant. Remove from heat. Cool completely.
  • 2 Place butter in medium bowl. Beat with electric mixer until smooth. Add red pepper-infused oil; mix until well blended. Add Hot Sauce, honey and garlic powder. Mix until well blended and smooth.
  • 3 Spoon butter onto plastic wrap. Roll into a log about 1-inch (2.5-cm) in diameter. Wrap tightly and refrigerate until firm. Refrigerate up to 1 week or freeze up to 1 month. Use to season grilled chicken and pork, or melt over potatoes or steamed vegetables.
