  • 1 Place capers on paper towel-lined plate. Cover with another layer of paper towels. Microwave 5 to 8 minutes on 50% power, tossing to mix every minute, until completely dry and lightly browned. Cool completely.
  • 2 Place capers in clean spice grinder or coffee grinder. Pulse until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Mix capers and remaining ingredients in small bowl until well blended.
  • 3 Spoon butter onto plastic wrap. Roll into a log about 1-inch in diameter. Wrap tightly and refrigerate until firm. Refrigerate up to 1 week or freeze up to 1 month. Serve with toasted baguette, use to season grilled salmon or steamed veggies.
