Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup finely chopped yellow onion
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Ground Black Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Sea Salt Grinder
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Bring large pot of water to boil on medium-high heat. Add green beans. Cook, uncovered, 5 minutes or until tender crisp. Drain immediately and rinse with cold water. Pat dry with paper towels. Set aside.
- 2 Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat. Cook 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly until butter is lightly browned and has a slightly nutty fragrance. Add onion; cook and stir until softened and butter is well browned and no longer foamy, about 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in garlic powder, black pepper, and sea salt.

Add green beans, tossing to coat well. Cook and stir 1 minute longer, just until beans are warmed. Sprinkle with additional sea salt, if desired.
