- 1 package McCormick® Bag 'n Season® Pot Roast Cooking & Seasoning Mix
- 1 beef brisket (3 to 4 pounds), trimmed
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Arrange opened Cooking Bag in 13x9-inch baking pan or dish. Place brisket in bag.
- 2 Sprinkle Seasoning Mix over meat. Add vinegar and water to bag. Close bag loosely with nylon tie. Cut 4 small holes in top of bag to allow steam to escape.
- 3 Bake in lower half of oven 2 hours. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Serve pan juices over brisket or thickened for gravy.
TIPS AND TRICKS
Allow 8 inches for bag to expand while cooking. Cooking bag should not touch oven walls or racks.
