Hello, concerned parent here. When reading the instructions, the directions are a little confusing. When it says “ 1 1/4 cup of water” is that meaning 1/4 cup of water or 1 1/4 cup of water? Reason I ask is because looking at the rest of the instructions, the majority of the steps have a “1” in front. Thank you.

Sorry for the confusion, Sally. You are adding 1 and 1/4 cups of water to the seasoning mix and tomato paste. ~Leslie

Add some cooked elbow macaroni and you have instant casserole! It really stretches the food budget, and the kids love it. A quick meal to throw together after work.

Tastes food and it's easy but what is the unit of measure for the nutritional info? What is the breakdown for 1/2 cup measured?

The nutritional information on the package is for the pouch contents per 1 tsp serving size. Because there are many variables concerning the ingredients that are added by the consumer (i.e. type of ground meat, fat content in the meat, type of tomato product, etc.), we do not offer an “as prepared” nutritional statement. ~Leslie

Wish you would give recipe with individual spices as well as with the mixes. My daughters love them but I would rather buy each separately so I can use them in many different recipes.
