Baja Fish Tacos

This take on a popular street food features pan-seared tilapia seasoned with McCormick® Street Taco Baja Fish Seasoning Mix and served in tortillas. Top with shredded cabbage or coleslaw, tomatoes and avocados for the perfect finish.

Servings: 5 (2 tacos)

Ingredients

  • 4 tilapia fillets, (about 1 pound) substitution Substitutions available
    • any white fish fillets
  • 1 package Baja Fish Street Taco
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 10 (6-inch) tortillas, warmed

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Coat fish evenly on both sides with Seasoning Mix.
  • 2 Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add fish; cook 3 to 5 minutes per side or until golden brown and fish flakes easily with a fork. Cut fish into 10 portions. Serve in tortillas with desired toppings.
  • 3 Serving Suggestion: Serve with toppings such as shredded cabbage or prepared coleslaw, thinly sliced red onion, chopped tomatoes, sliced avocado and lime wedges.
