A layer of McCormick® Ground Cinnamon and sugar on the bottom, and another sprinkle on top transforms your classic blondie bar recipe into a churro-inspired masterpiece.
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 13x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper. Spray lightly with no stick cooking spray. Mix granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon of the cinnamon in small bowl. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture on bottom of prepared pan; set aside. Reserve remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.
- 2 Mix brown sugar, butter and remaining 3 teaspoons cinnamon until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Add flour and baking powder, stirring to mix well.
- 3 Spread batter into an even layer in prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake 30 to 32 minutes, until center is set. Cool completely on wire rack. Drizzle with melted dark chocolate before cutting into bars. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
