Place cereal in large bowl. Set aside. Microwave chocolate, marshmallow creme and peanut butter in medium microwavable bowl on HIGH 1 minute; stir. Microwave 20 to 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in peppermint extract.
Pour over cereal; toss until evenly coated. Add 1/2 cup of the confectioners’ sugar; toss to coat well.
Spread in single layer on wax paper-lined baking sheet. Let stand 10 minutes or until cooled. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar; toss again to coat well. Store in airtight container.
No one thinks this is for animals, gimme a break this recipe has been around for years in many variations most people aren't idiots its called puppy chow in every cookbook out there!

The recipe name is a bit misleading...I clicked on it thinking it was a recipe for dogs! Then I saw the chocolate and knew it couldn't be. The recipe itself looks delicious, I'd just consider renaming it to avoid confusion.

You need to Seriously change the name of this treat! Some people if they don't know not to give chocolate to their dogs will make their pups very ill. This is NOT a puppy treat! CHANGE THE NAME!!!!
