Crust

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) cold butter, cut into chunks

Lemon-Lime Filling

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. For the Crust, mix flour, confectioners' sugar, ginger and salt in large bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resemble coarse crumbs. Pat mixture into greased foil-lined 9-inch square baking pan. Bake 15 to 18 minutes or until crust is lightly browned. Remove from oven.

  • For the Filling, mix granulated sugar, flour and baking powder in large bowl. Add lime juice, eggs, lemon extract and food color; whisk until blended. Pour filling over warm baked crust.

  • Bake 20 to 25 minutes longer or until filling is set. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
