INGREDIENTS

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 3 cups unflavored cold brew coffee
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon McCormick® Ube Extract, divided
  • 1 cup 2% reduced fat milk

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Mix coffee, sugar and 1 tablespoon of the ube extract in large liquid measuring cup, stirring until well blended and sugar is dissolved.
  • 2 Fill 4 (12-ounce) glasses with ice. Pour 3/4 cup of the ube cold brew over ice in each glass.
  • 3 Mix milk and remaining 1 teaspoon ube extract in medium liquid measuring cup. For each serving, froth 1/4 cup of the milk mixture, using a milk frother or blender. Pour milk mixture over cold brew in serving glass. Serve immediately.
  • 4 Test Kitchen Tip: Don’t have a milk frother? No problem. Place milk mixture in blender container. Cover. Blend on medium until foamy and almost doubled in volume. It works best to froth each 1/4 cup serving at a time. You can also froth milk using a jar with a lid. Place 1/4 cup milk mixture in clean jar. Seal lid tightly and shake vigorously until foamy. Immediately pour over cold brew and serve. One more trick: Use your French press to froth milk. Place milk in clean press, filling no more than about 1/3 of the way. Pump plunger until milk is foamy and doubled in volume.
