Inspired by the Caribbean influence in New Orleans cuisine, Roasted Garlic Adobo combines the bold flavor of fire-roasted bell peppers, savory onions and roasted garlic to season this easy whole grain brown rice and black beans dish.

Usage Tips

Stove Top Directions:
Mix 1 1/2 cups water and 1 Tbsp. butter in a 2-quart saucepan. Bring to boil. Add rice mix. Reduce heat. Cover. Simmer 10 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed.

For softer rice:
Simmer an additional 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes.
