1 pkg. McCormick® Slow Cooker Sauce Smoky Bourbon BBQ Pulled Pork
3 lbs. boneless pork shoulder, trimmed
1. PLACE pork in slow cooker.
2. STIR in sauce, turn meat to coat well. Cover.
3. COOK 8 hours on LOW or 4 to 5 hours on high. Stir before serving.
4. SHRED pork using 2 forks. Return pork to slow cooker. Mix with sauce before serving.
For best results, do not remove cover during cooking.
Smoky Bourbon Pulled Chicken: Use 2 lbs. boneless chicken thighs in place of the pork.

This sauce is awful. If you use it, make sure to have brown sugar, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, and hot sauce on hand to doctor it up. Better to just skip this sauce.

This is awful. I love, love, love the McCormick Slow Cookers BBQ Pulled Pork Seasoning Mix and thought this might be an even easier way to make bbq pork, but it lacks all sweetness and doesn't have much body. Stick to the seasoning mix and add your own ketchup, brown sugar, and vinegar and you will have the best bbq pork ever. I can't find a bottled bbq sauce I like better. But forget this. ugh.
