1 pkg. McCormick® Slow Cooker Sauce Pot Roast with Caramelized Onion & Cracked Black Pepper
3 lbs. Boneless chuck roast, trimmed
4 cups cut-up vegetables, such as potatoes, carrots and onion
1. PLACE roast and vegetables in slow cooker.
2. STIR in Sauce. Mix to coat well. Cover.
3. COOK 8 hours on LOW or 4 to 5 hours on high. Stir before serving.
For best results, do not remove cover during cooking.
Beef Brisket & Onion Sandwiches: Place 1 beef brisket (about 3 lbs.), trimmed, in slow cooker. Top with 1 large onion, thinly sliced. Serve sliced brisket on gluten-free bread or rolls, topped with onions.

My family and I tried this for the first time tonight. Everyone loved it, it was an instant hit! It rather reminded me of the pot roast my mother made. I will definitely buy this again in the future!

Thought I'd try this rather than season it myself. I tend to shy away from 'prepared' items because they are salty. Pot roast is almost done and I just tasted it! WAY TOO MUCH PEPPER! I dumped the 'gravy' and recovered everything with water and some mild seasonings, hope I can salvage it. Also called customer service. Never had a problem with their products before so I hope someone made a mistake on this batch!

Have to agree with other reviewer. WAY TOO MUCH PEPPER!!!! Trying to salvage my roast now hoping it works by rinsing out the spices and diluting.
