Place beef and vegetables in slow cooker.
Mix Seasoning Mix and water until blended. Pour over beef and vegetables. Cover.
Cook 7 hours on LOW. Stir in mushrooms and barley. Cover. Cook 1 hour longer on HIGH or until barley is tender. Stir before serving.
My husband made this yesterday for today because it was supposed to be cold today so we wanted to have a warm, hearty soup ready. This soup is wonderful! It tastes as good as it looked.
