INGREDIENTS

Servings: 10 (1 Tablespoon)

Ingredients

  • 8 scallions (green onions), green parts only, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons white miso paste
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Sesame Seed

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Place scallions on paper towel-lined plate. Cover with another layer of paper towels. Microwave 1 minute on HIGH, toss to mix and separate. Microwave in 30 second increments until completely dry and lightly browned. Cool completely.
  • 2 Place dried scallions in food processor. Pulse until finely ground. Add butter, miso and sesame seed; pulse until combined.
  • 3 Spoon butter onto plastic wrap. Roll into a log about 1-inch (2 1/2-cm) in diameter. Wrap tightly and refrigerate until firm. Refrigerate up to 1 week or freeze up to 1 month. Serve with toasted baguette, use as a spread for charcuterie boards, or to top grilled steak or chicken.
