Stir in contact solution until mixture becomes difficult to stir. Knead with hands until you form a ball that is slightly wet, but not sticky. (Store in an airtight container when not using.)
We used this recipe for our grandchildren and they loved it. The recipe is quick, easy, inexpensive and fun. We read the other reviews and in regard to the review that added more baking soda, that is a terrible mistake. When you begin making the slime it appears to need more dry ingredients to make it firm, however, the reaction takes place when you add the contact solution. Follow the simple instructions and your slime will be perfect. In addition, make sure you have air tight containers to store the slime in. Good luck and have fun!

This recipe DID NOT WORK!! We stirred formerly an hour and it NEVER reached a decent consistency. Added several tablespoons of baking soda and it got better, but this was a huge disappointment for the youngsters who so much wanted this to work.
