Heat oil in large saucepan on medium-high heat. Add onion and green bell pepper; cook and stir 5 minutes.
Stir in beans, tomatoes and remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Excellent, easy to make, and vegan too!

I've been making this recipe for years. It's very tasty and simple to prepare. I garnish with sour cream and cheddar cheese and serve it with cornbread on the side. You can also serve it over steamed white rice. :)
