Let’s face it: We’re having a tough time saying goodbye to the sun-drenched days of summer, sipping frosé on the porch.
But thanks to this awesome recipe for cider slushies on Tasting Table, fall is looking amazing. These frozen drinks combine all our favorite autumn flavors into one delicious boozy treat. Here’s how to make them with just a few ingredients.
Step 1: Freeze 3 cups apple cider in an ice-cube tray.
Step 2: Combine the cider ice cubes with 1 cup ginger beer, ¾ cup cold chai tea, ¼ cup lemon juice, and 1 cup bourbon.
Step 3: Pour all the ingredients in a blender and blend until it becomes a slushy-like texture.
Step 4: Divide among glasses and garnish the slushies with your favorite fall flavors, like cinnamon sticks, sliced apples and pears, or cinnamon-sugar rims.
Step 5: Enjoy, then repeat steps one through four until it’s cold enough for mulled wine season.
