Ingredients

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Place 1 cup water, sugar, honey, cardamom pods and cinnamon sticks in a small saucepan. Bring mixture to boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low. Stir in hibiscus flowers; simmer 20 minutes. Remove from heat. Allow mixture to cool slightly. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove cardamom pods, cinnamon sticks and flowers. Cool completely or refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • 2 Mix syrup with cold seltzer. Serve over ice in beverage glasses. Garnish with cinnamon stick, if desired.
