  • 1 package McCormick® Butter Chicken Seasoning Mix
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 can (15 oz.) chickpeas, drained - Substitutes1 package (14 oz) firm tofu
  • 1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream - Substituteslight cream

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add chickpeas; cook and stir 4 to 6 minutes. 
  2. Melt butter in same skillet. Add Seasoning Mix and tomato sauce. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes. 
  3. Stir in cream. Simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened, stirring occasionally. Serve over cooked basmati rice, if desired.
