- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 1 can (28 ounces) petite diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® Basil Leaves
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® Oregano Leaves
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Onion Powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Ground Black Pepper
- 1 container (32 ounces) chicken stock
- 8 ounces (about 10) lasagna noodles broken into pieces
- 1 cup ricotta cheese, to serve
- Shredded mozzarella cheese, to serve

- Brown ground beef in large saucepan on medium heat. Drain fat. Add onion; cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until softened.
- Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, seasonings, salt, pepper and stock. Bring to boil. Add lasagna noodle pieces; cook 6 to 8 minutes or until noodles are tender.
- Ladle soup into serving bowls. Top with a dollop of ricotta cheese and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese to serve.
Test Kitchen Tip: This recipe is also great with McCormick® Garlic, Herb and Black Pepper and Sea Salt All Purpose Seasoning. Swap in 2 tablespoons of the Seasoning Blend in place of the herbs, spices, salt and pepper!
