- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 small red bell pepper, coarsely chopped (about 3/4 cup)
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped red onion
- 2 large cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
- 2 teaspoons McCormick Gourmet™ Roasted Saigon Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Sea Salt Grinder
- 1/4 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Cayenne Red Pepper
- 16 Bibb lettuce leaves
- 1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Cook ground beef, bell pepper, onion and garlic in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes or until beef is no longer pink and vegetables are tender. Drain fat
- 2 Stir in tomato sauce, raisins, cinnamon, oregano, sea salt and cayenne pepper. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes to blend flavors
- 3 Spoon 1/4 cup beef mixture into center of each lettuce leaf. Sprinkle with almonds. Serve immediately
