  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 cup McCormick® Harry Potter™ Butterbeer™ Finishing Sugar
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons McCormick® Harry Potter™ Butterbeer™ Flavor
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with foil. Spray foil with no stick cooking spray. Set aside. 
  2. Mix flour, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Set aside. Mix brown sugar, Butterbeer Finishing Sugar, butter, egg and Butterbeer Flavor in large bowl until well blended. Add flour mixture, stirring just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans, if using. Spread into an evenly layer in prepared pan.
  3. Bake 20 to 22 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out mostly clean. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into 12 bars to serve.
