- 2 cups red beets, peeled, grated
- 2 each blood oranges juice and peel
- 1/4 cup ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoon honey
- 1 each Cinnamon Sticks, crushed
- 1 teaspoon Cardamom, Ground
- 1 teaspoon McCormick Culinary Allspice, Ground
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper, Cracked Cracked
- 1 teaspoon Cloves, Ground
- 1/2 teaspoon himalayan pink sea salt

- In a pot over medium-high heat combine water, beets, blood orange juice and peels, ginger, vinegar, honey, cinnamon stick, cardamom, allspice, black pepper, and cloves. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and cool completely. Sour can be strained at this point or held with fruit and strained for service. Hold refrigerated until needed.
