Blueberry Fennel Sipping Sour

This sipping sour is great to sip on its own or used as a mixer for light, refreshing cocktails.

Ingredients

  • 1 quart distilled water
  • 2 cups blueberries organic, crushed
  • 1 cup groundcherry ( ), optional, crushed, peeled
  • 1 cup fennel bulb thinnly, sliced
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon lavender
  • 1/2 teaspoon himalayan pink sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fennel Seed

This sipping sour is great to sip on its own or used as a mixer for light, refreshing cocktails.

  1. In a pot over medium-high heat combine water, blueberries, groundcherries (if using), fennel, vinegar, honey, lavender, salt, and fennel seed. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and cool completely. Sour can be strained at this point or held with fruit and strained for service. Hold refrigerated until needed.
