- 1 Brush roast with oil. Sprinkle evenly with Seasoning on all sides.
- 2 Grill over medium heat 10 to 12 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Let rest 15 minutes. Thinly slice against the grain to serve.
- 3 Test Kitchen Tip: The grain of a tri-rip roast runs in two different directions. Take a look at your tri-tip roast before cooking, so you’ll know how to slice it! Once the roast has been grilled and rested, cut the roast into 2 pieces where the two grains intersect. Then slice each piece against the grain to ensure maximum tenderness.
