Applewood Grilled Whole Fish

Ingredients

  • 2 whole fish, such as branzino or rainbow trout, gutted and scaled by your fishmonger (1 to 1 1/2 pounds each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup McCormick® Grill Mates® Applewood Rub
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Rinse fish and pat dry. Score skin diagonally on both sides of fish.
  • 2 Brush fish with oil. Season with Applewood Rub. Stuff inside cavity of fish with lemon slices. Place fish on well-oiled grill over medium heat.
  • 3 Grill 6 to 7 minutes per side or until fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
