- 1 Place all ingredients in small saucepan on medium heat. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 3 minutes, stirring to dissolve sugar.
- 2 Remove from heat. Cool slightly. Refrigerate overnight to blend flavors. Strain before serving.
TIPS AND TRICKS
Sweeten iced tea with 2 tablespoons Simple Syrup per 1 cup tea. For Southern-style sweet tea, increase Simple Syrup to 1/4 cup.
Sweeten homemade lemonade or limeade with 2 tablespoons Simple Syrup per 1 cup.
Add 1 tablespoon Simple Syrup per 1 cup sparkling water, club soda or seltzer.
