- Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook pasta to al dente according to package instructions. Drain, but do not rinse.
- Meanwhile, heat olive oil in large pot or deep pan. Add tomatoes and a generous pinch of salt. Sauté 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the Gourmet Garden Lightly Dried Basil, Minced Garlic Paste and balsamic vinegar. Mix well and sauté for 5 to 7 minutes longer, until sauce has thickened.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce and use tongs to mix well. Serve topped with additional Lightly Dried Basil and crushed red pepper flakes, if desired.
