Ingredients
- Tequila Marinade
- 1 cup resposado tequila
- 1/2 cup cilantro, fresh, rough chopped
- 6 tablespoons agave
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup scallions, rough chopped
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 1 pound chicken thighs, boneless, skinless
- Cabbage Slaw
- 2 cups purple cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 cup white onion small dice
- 1/4 cup cilantro, fresh, rough chopped
- 1 tablespoon Cholula® Chili Lime Seasoning
- Chili Lime Crema
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Cholula® Chili Lime Seasoning
- Tacos
- 1 pound marinated chicken
- 1 tablespoon Cholula® Chili Lime Seasoning
- 8 each corn tortillas
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cabbage slaw, prepared
- 8 teaspoons chili lime crema, prepared

Instructions
Tequila Marinade
- In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until fully incorporated.
- Vacuum seal marinade and chicken in a bag and refrigerate. Let sit overnight.
Cabbage Slaw
- In a bowl, mix all ingredients, stirring to combine. Hold refrigerated for service.
Chili Lime Crema
- In a bowl, whisk together sour cream and Cholula Chili Lime Seasoning. Hold refrigerated until service.
Service
- Heat grill. Remove chicken from marinade and grill until an internal temperature of 165°F has been reached, basting with marinade.
- Cut chicken into small cubes and toss with 1 tablespoon of Cholula Chili Lime Seasoning - hold hot.
- Warm 8 tortillas on the grill. After flipping, place 2 tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese in the middle of each tortilla to melt. Remove and place in taco holders.
- For each taco, layer 1/4 cup of chopped chicken, 2 tablespoon of slaw and finish with a drizzle of a teaspoon of the crema. Serve immediately.
