Alpine Grilled Chicken & Swiss Sandwich

An indulgent grilled chicken sandwich with Swiss cheese and an aioli spiked with French's® Stone Ground Dijon Mustard, Italian herbs and roasted garlic.

  • Stone Ground Dijon Aioli
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons [MISSING PRODUCT – REVIEW]
  • 3/4 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
  • 3/4 teaspoons Lemon Pepper Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon [MISSING PRODUCT – REVIEW]
  • Grilled Chicken Sandwich
  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken breast boneless/skinless, portions, 6 oz
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 teaspoons Grill Mates Montreal Chicken® Seasoning
  • 4 each ciabatta rolls 4-inch, split
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 4 slices swiss cheese
  • 6 tablespoons stone Dijon aioli, ground
  • 4 leaves green leaf lettuce
  • 4 slices tomato 1/4-inch thick
  • 1/4 cup red onion julienne

Stone Ground Dijon Aioli

  1. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, Italian herbs, lemon pepper and roasted garlic. Whisk well to fully incorporate. Hold refrigerated for service.

Service

  1. Set grill to medium high. For each serving, season 1 portion chicken with 1 teaspoon each olive oil and Montreal Chicken Seasoning. Grill chicken to an internal temperature of 165°F. Just before temperature is reached top with Swiss cheese to melt. Butter ciabatta with 1 tablespoon of butter and grill until toasted.
  2. Spread top and bottom of roll each with 1 1/2 tablespoons aioli. Place grilled chicken on bottom of roll. Top with 1 lettuce leaf, 1 slice tomato and 1 tablespoon red onion. Cover with top of roll. Pick and cut as desired. Serve hot.
