  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Stir ice cream in medium bowl until smooth. Add flour and 2 tablespoons of the Sugar and Spice Blend. Mix just until combined; do not over-mix.

  • Pour batter evenly into greased 9-inch loaf pan. Sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon Sugar and Spice Blend.

  • Bake 35 to 40 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan; cool completely. Cut into slices to serve.

  • Test Kitchen Tips:
    •Don’t have any self-rising flour in the pantry? For each cup of self-rising flour, measure 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt into a 1-cup dry measuring cup. Add all-purpose flour to fill the measuring cup—use as directed in the recipe!
    •For a fun twist, use this recipe to make pancakes! Heat greased skillet on medium heat. Drop prepared batter by 1/4-cupfuls onto skillet; sprinkle with additional Sugar and Spice blend, if desired. Cook 1 to 2 minutes per side or until lightly browned. Serve plain, or with your favorite syrup.
    •Make this recipe your own! Try with different ice cream flavors, like black cherry, butter pecan or strawberry. You can also try stirring in or sprinkling with your favorite toppings, like shredded coconut, chocolate chips, dried fruit or nuts, or even oats to make it your very own Ice Cream Bread sundae!
