Lemongrass Ginger Tea

A light and refreshing accompaniment to the complex flavors of Thai cuisine.

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 4 stalks lemongrass
  • 2 pieces Thai Kitchen® Galangal
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Fresh mint sprigs

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 BRING water to boil in small saucepan. Add lemongrass, galangal and honey; boil 5 minutes. Strain mixture to remove lemongrass and galangal.
  • 2 SERVE tea warm or in a tall glass with ice. Drizzle with additional honey, if desired. Garnish with mint sprigs.
