Ingredients 8 Servings

  • 1 package (24 ounces) McCormick® Grill Mates® Montreal Turkey Tenderloin
  • 1 loaf (16 ounces) Italian bread
  • 6 slices Provolone cheese, cut in half
  • 4 green leaf lettuce leaves
  • 1 medium tomato, thinly sliced
  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled, pitted and thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Grill turkey tenderloins over medium heat 20 to 25 minutes, turning every 5 minutes until tenderloins are cooked through and lightly charred (internal temp reaches 165°F). Remove from grill; let rest 5 minutes. Thinly slice turkey on a diagonal.
  • 2 Split Italian loaf in half lengthwise. Grill, cut-side down, 3 to 5 minutes until lightly toasted. Flip bread and layer cut-sides with Provolone. Grill 3 to 5 minutes or just until cheese is melted.
  • 3 Layer sliced turkey evenly over cheese on bottom half of bread. Top with lettuce, tomato, and avocado. Spread mayonnaise evenly on top half of the bread and place on top of sandwich. Secure sandwich with toothpicks and cut into 6 pieces.
  • 4 Test Kitchen Tips:
    •Sub mini baguette rolls for the loaf of bread and build individual sandwiches with your favorite toppings.
    •Make it a Panzanella—a Tuscan-style bread salad! Cut toasted bread into cubes. Chop turkey, lettuce, tomato and avocado into bite-sized pieces. Toss in a large bowl with cubed bread and Italian dressing.
    •Add crispy bacon and banana peppers for a Turkey BLT with a kick!
