Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups thinly sliced onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
- 1 teaspoon French's® Honey Dijon Mustard Squeeze Bottle
- 12 fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
- 1 package (10 ounces) McCormick® Grill Mates® Prime Rib Uncured Beef Franks
- 4 mini baguette rolls, split lengthwise
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Melt butter in medium skillet on low heat. Add onions and salt. Cook 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onions are golden brown. Remove from heat; set aside.
- 2 Meanwhile, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, horseradish and mustard in small bowl. Cover. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- 3 Grill asparagus and beef franks over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, turning frequently until asparagus is tender and franks are heated through and lightly charred on all sides.
- 4 Spread inside of each roll with about 1 1/2 teaspoons horseradish mayo. Layer each with 1 tablespoon caramelized onions, 3 asparagus spears, and 1 beef frank. Top evenly with remaining onions and drizzle with remaining horseradish mayo.

•Make it a lettuce wrap! Swap bibb lettuce leaves for rolls. Fill lettuce leaves with chopped beef franks, asparagus and onions, and drizzle with horseradish mayo to serve.
•Make it “Steak” & Eggs! Sauté sliced beef franks with onions and bell peppers. Stir in eggs and scramble. Top with shredded cheese, if desired.
•Substitute sautéed mushrooms for caramelized onions for an umami overload!
