Rachel has always had a passion for good food, cooking, and exploring new flavors. Growing up on a rice and crawfish farm in south Louisiana, she learned the importance of nurturing Earth’s bounty and caring for the land at a young age. She also spent many days in the kitchen with her mother and grandmothers learning the art of turning simple ingredients into spectacular dishes.

She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Animal, Dairy and Poultry Sciences with a concentration in Dairy Foods Technology from LSU. She also holds a degree in Culinary Arts from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Now, Rachel is a Senior Culinary Development Manager who enjoys her work creating recipes and being a culinary partner to her cross-funtional teammates. For Rachel, cooking is her way of bringing friends and family together and connecting with new people. Food is what drives Rachel’s creativity and is her inspiration every day to help create enjoyable and memorable food experiences for all.
