Ingredients 6 Servings

  • 6 boneless pork chops, 1-1/2 inches thick (about 2 lbs.)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 32 ounce sauerkraut
  • 2 large apples, sliced
  • 1 large sweet onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1/4 cup French's® Classic Yellow Mustard
  • 3 tablespoon firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 SEASON pork with salt and pepper. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat and brown chops.
  • 2 ADD sauerkraut, apples and onions to slow cooker. Arrange chops on top of sauerkraut mixture. Combine apple juice, mustard, brown sugar, and thyme and pour over chops.
  • 3 COVER and cook on LOW 8 to 9 hours or HIGH 4 to 5 hours, until pork is tender.
