It's the perfect steak rub for tri-tip or flank steak, or your favorite cut of beef. The tri-tip steak is the classic cut of beef that's grilled in a Santa Maria-style barbecue, originating on California's Central Coast. The meat is rubbed with a blend of salt, black pepper, and garlic, then grilled over hot coals of red oak wood. Our blend has a hint of heat from chili pepper and is versatile enough for seasoning steak as well as chicken or pork.
