  • 2 pounds ground beef (80/20 preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons McCormick® GRILL MATES Smash Burger Seasoning
  • 1 cup Mission BBQ® KC Classic BBQ Sauce
  • 6 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 6 brioche hamburger buns, toasted
  • Lettuce
  • Sliced tomato
  • Caramelized onions

Instructions

  1. Heat smoker to 300°F as directed by manufacturer’s instructions. Shape ground beef into 6 patties. Sprinkle on all sides with Seasoning. 
  2. Smoke 30 minutes to 1 hour or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Brush burgers with BBQ sauce and smoke 2 minutes long to set sauce. Place one slice of cheese on each burger and allow to melt.   
  3. Serve burgers on buns and top with lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, and additional BBQ Sauce, if desired.
