Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Place potatoes on microwavable plate. Pierce potatoes with fork several times. Microwave on HIGH 15 minutes or until fork-tender. Let stand until cool enough to handle.

  • Cut potatoes in half lengthwise. Scoop out potato flesh into medium bowl, leaving 1/4-inch shell. Set shells aside. Add 1/2 cup of the shredded cheese, 3/4 cup of the Crispy Fried Onions, milk, half of the bacon, butter and garlic powder. Mash with potato masher. Fill shells evenly with potato mixture. Place on baking sheet. Top with remaining shredded cheese, Crispy Fried Onions and bacon.

  • Bake 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and Crispy Fried Onions are golden brown.

  • Test Kitchen Tip: For an easy flavor twist, try using any of French’s® Crispy Fried Veggies, such as Crispy Jalapeños or Crunchy Toppers Red Pepper, in place of the Crispy Fried Onions.
