Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/4 cup French's® Classic Yellow Mustard, plus more to serve
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Ground Black Pepper
- 8 slices American cheese
- 4 hamburger rolls, toasted
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Preheat flat top grill on medium-high heat. Mix ground beef, Mustard, garlic salt and pepper in medium bowl. Shape into 8 balls.
- 2 Place meat balls on hot flat top grill. Smash meat using large heavy spatula or burger press to flatten evenly. Grill 2 to 3 minutes or just until crust forms on bottom of patties. Flip patties and top each with 1 slice of cheese. Grill 1 minute longer, just until cheese is melty and burgers are cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F.

To assemble, place 2 patties on each roll. Drizzle generously with additional Mustard, and serve with desired toppings, such as lettuce, tomato and red onion.
Tips: • Make it with a Mustard Burger Sauce! Mix 1/2 cup (125 ml) mayo, 2 tbsp. (30 ml) each French's® Classic Yellow Mustard and sweet pickle relish, and 1 tbsp. (15 ml) ketchup. Use to top burgers or dip fries!
