Tonight, your Tikka Masala dinner is going to be created at home. Boasting a tomato-based sauce, this popular meal full of Indian-inspired flavor gets its signature taste from McCormick® everyday spices like cumin, cinnamon and turmeric. And there’s no need for a fancy tandoor oven. Simply add ingredients to a skillet and serve the finished dish over rice or naan.
Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add chicken; cook and stir until no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet. Set aside.
Cook and stir onion and garlic in same skillet on medium heat until softened, about 3 minutes. Stir in cumin, cinnamon, turmeric, salt, lemon juice and tomatoes. Return chicken to skillet. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 10 minutes.
Gradually stir in half-and-half until well blended. Serve with cooked rice or naan bread, if desired.

I tried making this tonight and it was excellent. Being a low-carb cook, I substituted thighs for breasts and used virgin coconut oil as the oil. The thigh meat is more moist and the combination of the coconut flavor from the oil with the spices from the masala seasoning really worked well. Less than 35 total carbs and less than 25 net carbs in the entire recipe.
