Ingredients

  • 1 refrigerated pie crust, (from 14.1-ounce package)
  • 1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 teaspoons McCormick® Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 4 teaspoons McCormick® All Natural Pure Vanilla Extract, divided
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare crust as directed on package for one-crust pie using 9-inch deep dish pie plate. Mix pumpkin, granulated sugar, eggs, flour, pumpkin pie spice and 1 teaspoon of the vanilla in medium bowl until well blended and smooth. Pour into pie crust. Sprinkle pecans evenly over pumpkin layer.
  • 2 Mix brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, remaining 1 tablespoon vanilla and salt in another medium bowl until smooth. Slowly pour corn syrup mixture over pecans.
  • 3 Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until just set in center. Cool completely on wire rack.
