INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Beat butter in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy. Gradually add sugar, beating until well blended and smooth. Add milk, extracts and desired food color.
  • 2 Remove mixture from bowl. Knead until color is evenly distributed. Shape into small patties. Or, roll gently with a rolling pin and cut into shapes with mini cookie cutters.
  • 3 Refrigerate until ready to serve.

TIPS AND TRICKS

For Valentine's Day, use red food color. For St. Patrick's Day, use green food color. For a baby shower, use red or blue food color.
