Instructions
- Prepare garlic bread as directed on package. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly.
- Meanwhile, for the Spicy Meatballs, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese and Spicy Italian Seasoning in large bowl. Add eggs and milk; mix well. Add ground beef; mix just until blended. Shape mixture into 2-inch meatballs (about 12 to 14). Arrange meatballs on large foil-lined baking sheet.
- Reduce oven to 350°F. Bake meatballs 15 to 20 minutes or until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
- Mix Spicy Italian Seasoning into prepared marinara sauce. Place bottom half of garlic bread loaf on a large sheet of oil. Arrange meatballs on bottom half of garlic bread loaf. Spoon 1/2 cup of the marinara over meatballs and top with mozzarella cheese. Place remaining half of garlic bread on top. Wrap sandwich tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake 15 minutes longer or until sandwich is heated through and cheese is melty. Unwrap sandwich from aluminum foil, cut crosswise into slices and serve with remaining marinara sauce for dipping.
Test Kitchen Tip: Refrigerate any remaining meatballs and use to make another sub or serve over pasta.
