  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons McCormick® Apple Pie Spice
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  1. Place apples, apple cider, brown sugar, lemon juice, and apple pie spice in large saucepan. Cook on medium heat 20 to 25 minutes or until apples are tender, stirring occasionally.
  2. Preheat oven to 325°F. Spoon applesauce into food processor or blender container; cover. Puree until smooth. Pour into 2-quart baking dish. Stir in vinegar and salt.
