Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons and 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® GRILL MATES® Bourbon & Oak Seasoning, divided
  • 1 pound boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 package (8 ounces) whole mushrooms
  • 1 small red onion, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Mix butter and 3 tablespoons Seasoning in a small bowl.  Set aside.   
  2. Thread steak onto skewers, alternating with mushrooms and onion pieces.
  3. Grill skewers over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes or until steak is desired doneness and vegetables are tender, turning occasionally and brushing with reserved seasoned butter the last 2 minutes of grilling. Remove skewers from grill. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 teaspoon Seasoning over skewers.    

 

Test Kitchen Tips: 

  • If using wooden skewers, soak thoroughly in water for at least 30 minutes before threading with meat. This prevents them from burning when on the grill.
  • If whole mushrooms are too large, cut in half or quarter them.
